Loading quilt

I got up this morning at 7:00 a.m. knowing I had a large quilt to load and wanted to get started.  This quilt I had to move in front of others because it is a wedding present, client needed it before October 4, and between now and then, I am going to be out of town 4 days so decided I better get it loaded.    I was interrupted by having to take my hubby to work.  Not a problem because he is always doing things for me.  Got home, got new cup of coffee and off I went to my long arm.  Quilt nice size – 94 x 100.  Get the front of the quilt loaded.  Then, noticed how uneven the backing material for the quilt was, so evened that out.  Then, noticed how wrinkled the backing was so, turned the iron on.  I have a Rowenta steamer and it takes around 11 minutes or so for it to heat the water up to steam so, waiting for that before I can iron it.  Then, maintenance man came to clean and check out out home furnace for the season.  Oh, yes, bobbins,  had to fill around 7 bobbins.  So, here it is 10:00 a.m.  Front of quilt loaded only, haven’t eaten breakfast yet oh, Louise, my Boston Terrier, and I did share a half sleeve of Ritz crackers as I typed this, if you can call that breakfast.  It just goes to show you that no matter how hard you try to just do one thing, it never happens that way.  Now that I have sat for a few minutes and checked out the FB, mail and blog, time to go iron the backing material and get the rest of the quit loaded.  Hopefully, by lunch time I will actually be quilting.  . . . LOL —  I truly love my job!!!!!

Happy quilting everyone.
