We have had rain the last couple of days.  We did have beautiful crepe myrtles, however, the branches are now laying on the ground and a few, due to the weight of the water in the flowers, have snapped.  Very said about that.

Well, on to bigger and better things.  I have been working hard.  Finished a Christmas quilt . . . I know, however, Christmas is just around the corner.  This one is done in beautful reds and golds and I did a swirly circle of life as the quilt pattern. Christmas tree is in the center of the quilt.

Here is a picture of the back.  Not a big one but you can get an idea. July 14, 2013 096

I am also working on a “Haunted Mansion” by Jason Yenter.  This is basically a full applique quilt and it has been so much fun to put together.  Getting ready to quilt in a week or so. 001

When I have a little extra time, I like to donate my time to the community quilt project for the Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild, of which I am a proud member.  The following are pics of a quilt I just finished.  I truly enjoyed doing this quilt. 010
