I have always loved to sew. I even made my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, as well as my granddaughter’s baptismal gown and cap.
I have also been an avid counted cross-stitcher for over 30 years.
One day in 2008, some of my friends brought me to Amber Plemones’ shop, Sew Simple Quilt Shoppe in Ozark, MO for an “open sewing” session. I saw all the quilt items in the shop and thought to myself, “I am NOT going to start quilting!” Well, those are famous last words, as I was quickly hooked.
Four years later, I started my own business, and I could not be happier!
I put love and heart into every quilt I make and no two are ever alike. I also only use the finest grade quilt materials such as Moda, Michael Miller, Jo Morton, Kim Diehl, Marcus, etc.
Some of my favorite types of quilts to make are batiks, Civil War reproductions and appliqué quilts.
I am a member of several quilting organizations including:
- International Machine Quilters Association
- American Quilters Society
- Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild
- Ozark GOLD (Greater Ozarks Longarm Divas)
It is my honor to produce a quilt for you, and I thank you in advance for considering me for your next quilting project.
